The Joy of the Lord Worship Center was opened in Victoria Texas on March 4, 2007. Dr. David P. Moten, pastor of The Joy of the Lord Worship Center was baptized in Jesus' name in July of 1981. Dr. Moten was saved, sanctified, and filled with the Holy Ghost Sunday, July 4th 1982, at Greater Grace Temple, Detroit Michigan, under the pastorate of the late Bishop David L. Ellis. After traveling extensively in 39 states, The Spirit of the Lord directed Dr. Moten to West Virginia. It was there Dr. Moten was united with the late Apostle and Bishop David Daniels Jr., and became part of the Deliverance ministry. Dr. Moten is blessed with the gifts of healing, the word of knowledge, the word of wisdom, the working of miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, and divers kinds of tongues. Many have been healed, delivered from demons, saved and blessed in the 32 years of Dr. Moten's ministry. Dr. Moten, along with his wife Minister Teri R. Moten and The Joy of the Lord Worship Center, is part of The Ecclesia Churches of Power, Praise & Deliverance, Inc.
